On my first Florida Padling Trails Asociation FPTA trip to Southeast Florida, I wanted to met padlers in Region G - which starts at John Penekamp State Park/ Miami Segment 16 to Ft. With the help of people like Gary Stephan Blazing Padles and Daniel Fineberg South Florida Kayak Metup over 50 people showed up for the padle on the Oleta River. We stoped at a smal caf for lunch and I got to talk to everyone about the trail and the Florida Padling Trails Asn. On the way back, Gary Stephan, showed me a sign by a park bench which read, Campsite of the Circumnavigational Saltwater Padling Trail.
